Baby Sea Turtles

These baby Sea Turtles are just hatching! When baby sea turtles are hatching they have a special adaptation made of keratin on the tip of their beak called an “egg tooth” or “caruncle” that helps them break through their eggshell.

These little turtles are great toys for younger children because they are soft and durable.
