These sweet little nests make a great addition to a fairy garden, miniatures display, or…use your imagination!

The smallest birds nest is built by the Vervain hummingbird (Mellisuga minima) from Jamaica. Their nests are about half the size of a walnut shell! The Bee hummingbird (M. helenae), is deeper and about the size of a thimble!

This magical creation is not far off from the size of a real hummingbird’s nest. Handmade eggs out of polymer clay, seed pod, and moss.
